Numbers 21:4-9

This panel was presented to the congregation on March 30 by the Men's Group.
The background, the light colour, represents the desert sands where Moses was leading the Israelites. The black forms represents those who became despondent and who were complaining to God and Moses about their hardships. God cast down venomous, firey serpents (the yellow and red). These serpents were biting and killing the Israelites, and they pleaded to Moses. Moses told them to pray to God to remove the vipers and God responded to Moses that he should make a serpent and hang it on a pole for all to see. And so he did...
